But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Remarkable quality
I am impressed by how well made this shirt is. The hems are all bound /faced with cotton twill tape, the zipper is brass with a leather pull tab -- it is rare to see clothing made this well now. This attention to quality is why I have been a customer for 40 years.

Well made, cute and practical
Very well made. If you have longer arms order the Tall version. I ordered two of these. The first was the Washed Buchanan and was Regular. It was so cute but when I washed it the sleeves shrunken enough that it bothered me. I liked it too much to send back so I ordered this plaid version and have had no sleeve shrinking after laundering.
