disappointing pockets
I have these in size large, medium tall.
Unfortunately the outside seam of the pocket is less than two inches long giving a pocket depth of barely 1.5 inches. I am not comfortable putting anything valuable in these extremely shallow pockets. Because these pants can't hold my phone, wallet, and keys they are lounge pants only. Deeper pockets or zippered pockets would make these pants significantly more versatile for me.
An internal drawstring would be another welcome addition, especially if the pockets are redesigned to be functional.
The front rise on my pair is 12.5'' and the rear rise is 16.5''. On my body (5'10'', 32'' inseam) they sit slightly below the waist. If I try to pull the waistband to my natural waist I get an uncomfortable wedgie sensation. For a natural waist fit I would need another 1-2'' of rear rise. It would be great if LL Bean would provide detailed garment measurements for each size so customers could understand in advance where a garment might fall on their bodies.

Warm comfy pants
I have worn these several times and washed them 2-3 times. They look brand new, haven’t shrunk or stretched. I would have given them 5 stars if they had at least one pocket for a phone, keys or whatever.

I bought these for cold weather and find they are warm and very comfortable and even look good! The fit is generous on me but I expected that as I am in-between a large and a medium.

Warm fleece pants
Very comfy and soft pants. Listed as fleece backed which helps in cold Indiana winters but not thick. True to size. I like the slip on waist — no zippers or buttons.
