The small but mighty pack - our smallest pack makes an ideal first pack for students just starting out. Same time-tested construction and rugged materials as our L.L.Bean Original Book Pack.
It's no secret that elementary-school students love our Original Book Packs, so we created a smaller version for all the little brothers and sisters out there. It's just as tough as the original, but sized to fit younger kids because packing treasures around the backyard can sometimes be just as important as carrying books and homework to school.

Junior Backpack

Built to last
My children always had LLBean backpacks. My daughter still uses hers from childhood. I bought a Jr. pack for my first granddaughter—daisys on light green. This grandchild got purple with red and blue flowers. The prints are nice and hold up well. A second water bottle pocket would get the fifth star. The extra pocket would be very useful for a toy or something they want easy access to.

Great bag for my bug-loving little guy
