Best long-sleeve waffle knit
I've been very frustrated by shrinking clothing, buying something that fits just right only to have it be too small after the first wash. This long-sleeve henley waffle-knit shirt from LLBean is great. It's a similar color to a shirt I liked that had cheap fabric that was coming apart. This LLBean article seems much more durable, and it still fits after washing! It's a bit loose fitting to similar garments from other brands, just a heads up. I'm looking forward to many years of warm comfort with this shirt.

Cut is far too loose
Far too baggy. Arms are too big & so is the stomach & I'm barrel chested. Not sure who a shirt this big is intended for.

LAUGHABLY LONG SLEEVES. GREAT COLOR.
We purchase many LL Bean clothes and are usually satisfied with the good quality and durability of the products (except for a few parka zippers). This item had woefully long sleeves, about four inches longer than other past purchases; we shall be returning it. The color is a beautifully rich dense dark forest green heather, perfect. But someone screwed up on the sleeve length measurements. They are more like apron strings than sleeves. How about bringing back the trim or slim fit henleys? We'd buy a slew so long as the sleeve length is correct.

perfect - for women, too!
Completely delighted with this shirt! I've been searching through mens' waffle shirts because womens' shirts are so often thin, flimsy, and mostly synthetic these days. This is perfect - thick, cozy, warm, and LONG. I had to try a few different cuts from LLBean to find one that worked, but this is also SO flattering! I love it.

Seems Less Substantial Than Before
Somewhat disappointed. I have purchased three of these in the past two years, and this one is noticeably thinner and lighter than the others. I have been purchasing much of my clothing from LL Bean for more than 45 years.
