Diffferent colors fit differently
Heads up! I first ordered Cobalt Mosaic Tile in 8 Long. As I started wearing it, I was delighted with the perfect fit, so I decided to order in another color, Dark Navy Print. I've tried it on 3 times . The first 2 times I thought it was a bit looser under the arms, like a small gap toward the bust. The 3rd time I noticed another gap on the tush. These 'flaws' in the fit are hard to describe, but with the first suit being perfect, this one has to go back. Now do I try another color, or go for a second Cobalt Mosaic Tile if it's still available?

Well made true to size… to much lining around the built in bra it makes you feel like you are wearing a life preserver …

One missing detail
Overall fit: Good! I ordered the 12 long and I am 5’10, 185lbs. Plenty of coverage in the rear, and the bust was flattering, not totally covered up but well supported. Straps are not adjustable but I felt like the long was accurate and there was stretch for someone taller than me. The leg holes were a bit snug but I carry more of my weight in my hips and butt so that’s to be expected.
Pros: Accentuates the waistline, fabric feels good quality, comfortable. I love that the bra cups are sewn in and that there was a shelf bra—much more supportive for a larger chest.
Con: The front of the suit is lined with a nude color that makes the front of the suit thicker, less stretchy and the colors pop. The back has NO LINING. Such a bummer!!! Because it’s a shaping suit and has a bit of compression the back gets so stretched out because it has more give without the extra support/compression of the lining. This makes the colors look faded and more see through on the back side. It also makes the side seams appear more forward on the body than they should be. I’m considering trying the 14 to see if it’s better but I just feel like that might make the top too big and lose some of the compression/shaping I was hoping for. Considering L.L. Bean’s reputation for quality I would expect the whole suit to be lined. If it was fully lined it would be PERFECT and I would be buying more!
