Good jacket
A simple serviceable wool jacket. Rather expensive but pleasing to wear. I think I recall seeing it in the 1965 catalog and wanting one ever since. If it wasn't in there, it should have been.

nice jacket
I've had this shirt-jac in Malone for a couple of years. It's a great weight for cooler weather and looks good. The wool can feel a little scratchy on bare skin--a light lining would be a nice touch--but I'm usually wearing long sleeves if it's cool enough to need this, and even with short sleeves I get used to it fairly quickly. It's not a perfect match for a plaid flat cap I bought from a seller in Ireland, but it's close enough. The large leaves me just enough room to layer over a heavy sweater, but if it's cold enough for that, it's cold enough for my Maine Guide wool parka, which is also nice.

Wonderful just Wonderful
I bought one of these and just love it. it's part nostalgia but more than that it is quality. This jacket is wool and warm. Although it's not wind proof it is very and warm to 40 degrees or so. I just love it I really do and also bought one for my grandson! I recommend!
