Made from premium stretch denim, with state-of-the-art S GENE® technology, the breakthrough fabric "remembers" its shape for superior retention. While the average recovery of other stretch denim is around 70% (leaving plenty of room for bagging and sagging), True Shape recovers 91% of its original shape (ensuring a great fit all day, every day). These jeans will follow your every move and look just as good at the end of the day as they did when you first put them on.
- Rinsed, Stonewashed: 93% cotton, 5% polyester and 2% elastane.
- Black: 90% cotton, 8% polyester and 2% elastane.

The fabric is a little too stretchy for me, but I like other LL Bean jeans.

Sizing uniformity among womens' clothing
I bought this in the same size as my shorts (several pair of the same style) from LL Bean. The shorts fit fine, the jeans I can't close comfortably. The jeans fit just fine on the hips, thighs and length. Why isn't there a LLB uniform sizing for its suppliers?

Didn't work for me
I liked the fabric of these jeans, but the fit was terrible and inconsistent. I ordered 2 pairs of these jeans and each one fit differently. However, instead of being straight jeans, both fit in the waist, were very full in the hips and thighs, were tight in the calf area, and flared at the ankle--not what I wanted or what the picture on the website looked like.

Best jeans EVER!
I kept looking for jeans that would both fit and be comfortable and found them in these jeans. Perfect length, just enough stretch and the color I was looking for. Just wish they would go on sale every now and then.
