These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Wanted to Keep It But
The fabric was soft and colors were beautiful. Unfortunately the proportions of this shirt were way off: the shoulder seam hit halfway down my upper arm, yet the overall length was too short even before any expected shrinkage.

Normally love LLBean clothes, but this shirt shrank after washing and drying one time to the point it’s just a bit too short in the arms and bodice. So tired of clothing this pricey shrinking.

It was great out of the package but shrunk when washed in cold water delicate cycle and the material wrinkled and is scratchy. Expected better quality.
