Love these for their quality fabric, wide leg line, and overall comfort. The new Dark Cinder is a unique color that works beautifully with black accessories and many LL Bean colors, particularly lovely with pale rose.

BRING BACK BOOTCUT!
I have the bootcut version of these pants, and I love them. I cannot fathom why they would discontinue them - in fact they needed more colors! It's important to note I am a fan of wide leg pants; if the pants I'm wearing are not the PFP BOOTCUT, then it is a wide leg style pant. These PFP Wide Straight Leg pants are NOT a suitable 'replacement'. The cut is GENEROUS; it is VERY WIDE starting immediately under the waist band. I can grab a handful of fabric at the hips on either side, and excess fabric continues all the way down. I had already adjusted my expectations and prepared for a 'long skirt' vibe based on all the prior reviews (thank you reviewers!) I find height/weight/fit reviews the most helpful. For reference: I am 5' 4" 110 lbs. in the Perfect Fit Bootcut pants I wear a REG inseam and size SMALL. For the PFP Wide Straight Leg I ordered PETITE inseam and size EXTRA SMALL - so glad I did!! the length worked, but the hips are still too ample in material. I was a bit uncertain what color Raven would be, as it looked a lot like the TAUPE color on my screen - and I own the Taupe in the AWESOME BOOTCUT version, and Raven turns out to be a soft charcoal color. Overall, I'm not happy with the pants, even with my adjusted expectations going in, and I'm super disappointed to have to move on from LL Bean and have to find another alternative. UGH. years of loyalty and recommendations discontinued.

Just bought these for the first time for a trip overseas. They really are a perfect fit. Very comfortable yet look very attractive. Perfect for a long plane ride and a long day!
