Strange sizing but otherwise a winner
Pros: these shorts are nicely sewn and perfect for hot weather. I love the slightly longer inseam and functional pockets. Very comfy.
Cons: Sizing is wild! I normally wear a 14, and my measurements are somewhere between the 14 and 16 on the LL Bean size chart. I'm 5'11" and about 195lbs, early 40s. Per the reviews, I ordered a 16. They looked great and were just fine walking around, but pulled across my hips when I sat, even after the linen relaxed. I exchanged them for 18, which feels and looks a little big, but this size will likely last me longer and work better overall.

Great Shorts - Poor Fit
I normally wear a MED (10-12) in LLBeans active wear pants so I ordered a size 12 in these shorts thinking I’d be safe.
I could barely pull them up they were so tight - they loosened up a bit after I wore them however. So I’m going to keep them - but they are tighter than I prefer.
Im very disappointed because of the inconsistency in sizes.
