We've improved our most popular large rolling duffle, loved since 1996 for its durability, fun colors and great price. Now made of 100% recycled fabrics, with a U-shaped zipper that opens wider for easier access and an innovative folding design.
Introducing our best-ever Rolling Adventure Duffle, redesigned using customer feedback, product reviews and tests from our own in-house lab. We chose a rugged fabric that's 100% recycled--and just as strong as before. Next, we packed it with improvements, including a wider opening and a new folding design we created by customer request, making it easier to stow away when you're not using it. Available in sizes and colors for every member of the family!
- 100% recycled 600-denier polyester on body, with 100% recycled 1000-denier polyester on base that's twice as abrasion resistant for added durability.
- PFC/PFAS-free durable water repellent (DWR).
- Fabrics are made from recycled plastic bottles; this 70L bag uses at least 39 plastic bottles.
- Coated interior for added weather protection; tested for 24 hours in our deep freeze with no signs of cracking, flaking or peeling.
- Waterproof fabrics. Zippers and seams not waterproof.
- Spot clean.
- U-shaped zippered opening offers 50% more access to contents inside.
- Zipper flap adds weather protection.
- Roomy main compartment.
- Grab handles at either end for easy maneuvering, with low-profile lash points and one rigid handle that helps stabilize bag.
- Handles have wrap closure for comfortable carrying.
- Features small L.L.Bean logo on either side of bag.
- Internal kickstand lets duffle stand upright for travel, then collapse for storage.

Very well designed
I have had one of these bags for years. It is the perfect size for longer trips and my husband started to make hints he wanted one too. I was worried that, years later, it would have lost the high quality of the older bag BUT I was pleasantly surprised to find that it is still very well made AND they have adjusted the design so it is much easier to roll and stand vertically.

Big bag for a big trip!
I got this bag because I'm heading out for a winter Yellowstone photoshoot. Big Boots, big coat, ski pants, Fleeces, sweaters, tripod and all the trappings needed for potential sub zero temps all meant I needed the biggest Bean bag! Even though this is a soft sided bag, it will stand up by itself, a plus in baggage check lines.

Simple & Sturdy
I used this once so far on a three day trip so there was actually plenty of room for everything. I like just having one large compartment as opposed to a two halves suitcase. Set it down and open and it takes a little less counter space in a motel room. We usually drive so I like that it has a top handle to make it easy to load in the back of the SUV.

Excellent size rolling duffel made to last
Bag is made to last, heavy zippers. The fabric is heavy and everything is double or triple stitched. The one thing I didn’t see clearly on line is the neat design feature of the adjustable “arm” that gives the bottom end of the bag more structure if you want to stand it up - it flattens onto the base of the bag so it can fold flat or flatten if it’s not full. The bag opens enough to easily get to your stuff. The small front pocket is only for small flat items, but that’s fine.
