Not Waterproof
I wore this jacket during summer travel in Iceland. It was a fine top layer for wind and light rain. One day it rained all day and I thought I could wear this as we walked around town. After an hour or so the water seeped through inside the jacket. Luckily I had a wool sweater underneath or I would have been freezing. Sadly, this is not a reliable waterproof jacket for any serious rain shower.

Great fit. Slightly longer sleeves are perfect for cycling and downpours. Can't beat waterproof with Gore-tex...

Love the jacket, but I'm petite
I've been looking for a petite sized GoreTex shell jacket forever, but alas, I guess petite bodies aren't allowed to have one. I love the fig color. I purchased in both medium and small. The sleeves are too long, the chest is too big (NEVER a problem for me, usually the opposite), the waist is at my hips, so I can't wear the small. Contemplating keeping it and seeing if the sleeves could be altered. If it were a petite size would be a slam dunk. I would recommend to regular sized friends, not petite ones.
