Womens Pathfinder Gore-Tex Jacket II
Wow! What a fantastic find and fit! The Gore-Tex performed beautifully along the Northern Irish coast as well as in Scotland's dreary January weather. The oversized fit was welcome as I was able to fit a traditional Irish wool sweater beneath. I remained dry and warm! It was less bulky than a fully insulated parka and more easily packed.

Sadly, no 2-way zipper
Fabulous coat in almost every way…except that the zipper is not 2-way. The fit seemed great while standing in the store but because the jacket extends over the hips I discovered that it was too tight for comfort (for me and for stress on the zipper) when I sat down later. No good for driving so I returned it.

Amazing winter coat!
Title says it all, amazing winter coat. Love that it was available in larger sizes. Very flexible in the ways it can be made warmer or cool depending on the weather. Seems durable enough to last many winters.

Tight through the chest
I bought this jacket in the color hot coral. The picture on my monitor did look like a pretty shade of coral, however, in person it looks like an orange safety cone. That color is very bright. I still would have kept the jacket, but it was also tight through the chest and shoulders. I returned the jacket. I do think the jacket is good quality overall. My only issues were the color and sizing.

Saturated with rain
I purchased this jacket because of the GORE-TEX. I wore it twice and on my third wear in a rainy condition, though not heavy rain, the jacket was saturated with rain. While I did not get wet on the interior, I also don't think a $200+ jacket should look soaked through either after a less than 30 minute walk.

Blocked beach winds
I ordered the deep blue color - love it! Coat is stiff as others said, but it is Goretex. It blocked the wind well in strong beach winds this fall on the Atlantic coast. Much more substantial than my lightweight rain jackets.

Great jacket!
This jacket replaced a well worn older version. The length and fit of this version is improved. This has always been my go to coat when shoveling snow or in heavy rain but I recently wore it on a fall foliage boat trip and it served as a great wind breaker, too.
