Great purchase
This was for my wife and she loves it. She had a chance to test it yesterday as we got torrential rain! It protected her very well!

Not a success
I was very excited about this jacket. It had all the characteristics I was looking for. Unfortunately, even though I sized up, it was too small in the shoulders and too long in the sleeves. I returned it, so don’t know if it was waterproof.

Not Waterproof
I wore this jacket during summer travel in Iceland. It was a fine top layer for wind and light rain. One day it rained all day and I thought I could wear this as we walked around town. After an hour or so the water seeped through inside the jacket. Luckily I had a wool sweater underneath or I would have been freezing. Sadly, this is not a reliable waterproof jacket for any serious rain shower.
