This exclusive flannel shirt is woven just for us by true artisans in Portugal. These expert craftspeople meticulously brush our Scotch Plaid fabric eight times on each side to create a long-lasting material with that distinctive smooth and cozy feel. But that doesn't automatically make it plush enough. It still needs to pass the "touch test." Only a master weaver can declare it soft enough.

Nice flannel, but not Tall size
Nice quality flannel, but I ordered a medium tall for my daughter in law. It just didn’t seem to have the length needed in the sleeves or body, but she will wear it with a shirt underneath or the cuffs rolled up.

The material is so soft and the colors quite rich! Beautiful shirt, well made and comfortable . Perfect for the fall and winter in New England . Even on a cool summer evening it would be good to toss over a tee shirt . I love it.

Stunning decline in quality
I’ve bought several LLBean flannel shirts over the years and I was stunned by how much the quality of this shirt has dropped. After a few months this shirt has shrunken several sizes and the sleeves are too short. The fabric is pilled and the color has faded. It is still warm and comfy but I can no longer wear this outside of the house. I won’t buy another! What a shame.

Tight across the shoulders. On the sides the back plaid does not line-up with the plaid on the front. Nice heavy flannel, but it is not at all soft flannel. Not really worth the price.
