Bean Double L cotton V-neck cable pullover
I was extremely disappointed with this purchase! I was really looking forward to receiving this sweater and then returned it the same day! It was HUGE, and I ordered a small. It was long and so poorly fitting through the shoulders, under the arms, etc. And what I find particularly annoying is that this sweater is a classic LL Bean item. Why is the sizing ridiculous!? The cable design and the color combination is fine, but that’s it! I do not recommend this item. I’m a longtime Bean shopper and cardholder,, but truthfully, I’m tired of returning my purchases due to quality and size dissatisfaction in recent years.. Prices going up I can understand, but quality going down. Is frustrating ! You do realize that shoppers have a lot of options now for similar styles and much better price points.!? What’s going on, LL Bean?

Sizing is "off" and knit is "stiff & scratchy"
I was so excited to order a navy v-neck sweater with white tipping from the Bean catalog, but I was hugely disappointed when I received it. The cotton knit was kind of an "open weave" and felt stiff and scratchy. I normally wear a size Small and sometimes have a problem with sleeves being too short for my longer arms, but the sleeves, as well as the overall sweater, were way too long. I'm not sure what is happening with the sizing of Bean's clothing for women, but this sweater was immediately returned. Decided not to order it in a smaller size because the fabric was not soft and sweater was not worth the price.

Great sweater, but terribly mis-sized.
In the past I've found Bean sweaters to run small, with medium being a bit snug on me versus other brands. So I ordered this one in large, and two of me could have fit in it. I returned it for a medium, it seemed just as big. Based on the previous comments, it looks like you've got a systemic sizing problem with this sweater. I'm half afraid to order a small; even it may be too big. So disappointing, as it's a beautiful sweater and was just what I was looking for.
