Handsome, substantial sweater
I bought this in black in a size L, my usual size. It fits very well and looks much like it did on the L.L. Bean model. I like its tunic length, slight high/low hem design, and the cashmere is soft and substantial. The cable design is handsome, but I would prefer to have plain sleeves. (The cabling looks bulky on my arms.) I also would have preferred a slightly less thick weight of the sweater so it would drape in a more flattering way. At the same time, it's thick and very warm.
Overall very happy with the sweater and will wear it a lot. (After wearing it for a few weeks I did have to shave it to remove pilling.)

Cashmere sweater is very nice (size medium)
I gave this sweater as a gift to my adult daughter. She sent me this evaluation: “ I like how soft it is and that it's a relaxed fit. The only negative would be smaller size of the head hole. That's probably due to my bigger head, but I found it a little harder to pull over my head than I expected.”

This is a gorgeous sweater
Returning it was hard, but it was not made for someone as short as I am. The quality is wonderful; the style is terrific; it's extremely well made. It's just not designed for short people- the mock neck is too long, as are the sleeves. But for a taller person, this is a beautiful sweater, and a great buy.

Not Quite Perfect
I ordered this sweater in black, always versatile and classy. The cable knit is lovely and quite a substantial weight, well worth the price. However, I think that it could have been more thoughtfully designed. The mock-neck is somewhat tight going over the head, the top and sleeves are pretty much true-to-size, but the bottom .seems needlessly wide even for a relaxed fit. It's as if this sweater were deliberately designed for more of a pear-shaped figure. (I'm neither "apple" nor "pear.") Oh well, since the pluses outweigh the minuses, I've decided to keep it. With tights/leggings or skinny jeans and three-inch heels it still should look great.
