Would buy it again!
I absolutely love this jacket. In these cold below zero temperatures, I have remained comfortable. This jacket is long enough it doesn't ride up on my back. Love, love, love it! The only negative is that the material makes a sound rubbing against itself, but as long as it keeps me warm, who cares.

I feel human again
After living in the tropics for 16 years, I moved back to the U.S. and have been experiencing winter. It has not been pretty. Some wonderful friends gave me a gift card to L.L.Bean, and I bought this jacket. These friends have been upgraded to "most wonderful" not only for providing me with a winter jacket is warm and comfortable, but also for introducing me to L.L.Bean. A win-win all around.

Lousy Zippers
Came here to say that I will never buy another LL Bean coat. The zippers on the 3 jackets my partner and I own all have failed. They split from the bottom up and we can't fix them.

Wanted to love this jacket, but...
I bought this jacket last winter and would have fallen in love with it, but the fit is a little strange. It was too tight in the chest and too wide around the hips. I loved the style and the color and it had all the features I was looking for, but I'm not pear-shaped. So, sadly, back it went.

GREAT QUALITY AND FIT
I purchased this jacket in a Petite XL and the fit is great. The jacket is light weight and easy to put on. In very cold weather, it needs some layering, but I would prefer layering rather than having a heavy, long jacket that is difficult to put on. I am only disappointed that I didn't buy the same jacket with an attached hood. Maybe next year!

I love this jacket. It keeps me warm, it's not too heavy and the brick color is unique. Perfect for a bad winter in Upstate New York! The sizing was perfect.
