These boots fit well and felt great right out of the box! The tread kept me sure footed on dog walks in the snow. True to size (9.5) and no breaking in needed. The adobe red is a good earthy color, not too red.

These are great!
I’ve had these for a few months now and wear them everyday at work. I stand on concrete all day and these are so comfortable. They’re also warm and do well when it’s wet out.

Waterproof!
I have had these for a few months now. I tried on several pairs of hiking boots once my last pair died and of course were discontinued. I had never made a purchase for myself from L.L.Bean previously. But after trying 5+ other pairs I ordered these in the orange because it was on sale. I wasn't particularly fond of the color at first, however, other people love it! I get lots of compliments on them. I have several foot issues, weak ankles, etc. I wear these with custom inserts, hiking liners and a thick pair of wool socks. I have worn them on several hikes and walks, many in the rain. I also recently wore them tide pooling. My feet stayed completely dry. I like the lightness of the boot, when compared to others, the shoestring lock so they are easy to tighten, how grippy they are, and the fact they are actually waterproof.

Perfect
Size fit perfect I always wear a 7.5. Very comfortable. I tried them on a very cold day I wore with winter boot socks. Feet were very warm while walking my dog.
