Great quality! Great Sole.
Fantastic quality but I just thought they were a little too rounded, not pointy enough, at the toe and felt a little bulky for me.

sturdy shoe
I forgot when I bought them. Maybe six years ago. Not long after my favorite sneaker was discontinued. I started wearing them full time. I call them my sturdy old man shoe. They are awesome, very rugged. When newish I wore them as a dress shoe. Mine have a few scuffs now. I put cork insoles in mine (Fulton, not cheap ones) and they are even better. Molded to the bottom of my foot now. I am getting another pair before they go the way of my sneaker.

Poor quality
I am 6ft 2” and weigh 240 lbs. Quality of this shoe was very poor. It was not a standard of the L.L. Bean that I grew up with. I returned them.

I wanted this style, ordered these in the desired style for casual wear. The heel was so low I couldn't wallk without stepping out of them? Odd. I've had several pairs of this style and wanted these, but couldn't wear them. Returned them with no wear

Fix the laces
The laces are at least a foot too long, for the cost of this shoe you would think Bean could fit them with the proper size laces!

Strange cushioning!
I didn't like the cushioning of these shoes. When I walked they felt like they would fall off (even though the sizes were correct)!
