We made this surprisingly light, exceptionally rugged skort from abrasion-resistant nylon with spandex for just-right stretch. It's so comfortable, we wear it absolutely everywhere.
Our go-everywhere, do-anything skort. Made from rugged nylon that stands up to even the most rigorous hikes. Yet it's so light, soft and comfortable, we throw it on for beachside walks, weekend errands, fireside lounging - literally everything.
- UPF 50+ fabric blocks 97.5% of the sun's UV rays.
- In a lightweight yet rugged blend of 93% nylon and 7% spandex.
- Abrasion-resistant ripstop fabric is quick drying and moisture wicking.
- Shorts lining is a soft blend of 88% polyester and 12% spandex.
- Machine wash and dry.
- Soft knit internal short with a hidden envelope pocket on right thigh.
- Slit at back for increased mobility.
- Fully elastic stretch waistband is contoured for comfort.

Comfortable but disappointing
I purchased this skort in navy and black because we were going on a spring trip break the beginning of April and family vacation in early June. While the fabric is lightweight and comfortable, the shorts section continuously rides up and does nothing to conceal my upper leg. I sized up to make sure it was long enough so it's not that it's too small!! I get compliments on the look of the skort, but I am constantly pulling down the shorts!

Nice skort but unattractive fit for petites
If you are taller than 5 ft. 2 inches and have a slender waist, this would probably look great on you. The skort is well made and a nice, light fabric. Unfortunately, the skirt was too long for me. I'm 5 ft. tall and it touched my knees, which looked frumpy. I would have kept it and hemmed it (note that fabric cannot be pressed, so not sure how good hemming would look), but the rise ended in a weird spot. Normally I prefer a mid rise, but the waist was too low, lower that what I would call mid rise, stopping a couple inches below the navel, which made me look dumpy. My waist is about 27 inches and I ordered a small, and it fit true to size.
