Excellent traction on ice and glazed snow.
I bought these over a year ago and used them for the first time this week. I live in Alabama so don't have frequent need. But we just had a week long ice event and these cleats worked WONDERS. I put them over my LL Bean snow boots. They went on very easily and quickly and securely. In less than 3 min. I had secure traction on iced parking lots, side walks and roads where no other non-studded foot wear was safe on those surfaces. My only suggestion is that they should have replaceable studs. I feel that in time they will dull and wear down but no more ice than we have here in AL, they will probably outlast me.

Must have if you are walking on ice or rocky water
Cleats worked well on ice and rocks while fly fishing for Steelhead until one of the metal rings connecting the chains to the cleat separated and the cleat slipped off. Thankfully I had a Leatherman tool with pliers on it so I could reconnect and clamp it in place again. Before using make sure all the O rings are fully clamped shut.

Best Ice cleats I’ve ever used
These are amazing. They don’t feel awkward when you’re walking and they give amazing protection from falls. I was running all over the lake with these and never fell once. Once put on they stay put all day without coming loose. Well worth the money.

Ice cleats
I haven't used them yet but I put them on my icefishing boots and I think they're gonna work great. I have a pair of size 10-1/2 boots and if they were any bigger the cleats probably wouldn't have fit.

Buyer beware!!!
Buyer beware! These do the trick as far as gripping the rocks in the river. The problem is the link between the toe chains falls off and will hook the opposite foot. This happend twice to me causing me to fall in the river. Your feet will become chained together and cause a dangerous situation.
