Fancy pants
I ordered these because my last Bean cords lasted, with much wear, for two decades! I like the dark brown, and the drape of the leg over shoe. I prefer a thicker (wider?) waistband as on the first pair, but this one's OK. They fit best pulled up "above the waist" but they're not so long that I'd cut and hem them.

A light corduory fabric that wears well
I am a little overweight, 5' 4", and I bought these pants in khaki. The shade is not blond, but slightly browner that the usual khaki, and it fits many colors well. I recommend this pant and am ordered another today, even though the fabric is lighter than last year. It is well tailored and not so heavy, so that they are easier to hang up in the closet. A very nice product.

Disappointed
Bean has changed the sizing and design of these pants. I ordered a Medium and they are too snug (my old ones are Mediums and I can still wear them). They also changed the waistband to be narrow.

Mislabled size
Beautiful pants, gorgeous color. I have almost every color. This pair was mislabled as petite. The inseam measured 30 1/2 inches instead of 28.
Returned and the product department is sending a pair that was actually measured!
