Men’s silk underwear shirt
Silk is a good insulator. So I decided to buy this item to wear as a layer on those cold and windy days hunting. The silk shirt is made of very thin material that you can actually see through. I was hoping that the shirt was made with a more denser woven silk fabric to get better insulation benefits from silk. I believe the shirt may serve better as a bedtime shirt than a hunting layer during the winter months.

Looks nice
Thinner than expected and it got runs like a stocking at the neckline after one use probably from my husband’s rough hands. Looks nice and fits well but not certain it will hold up over time.

Warm all winter
The silk lets the warm stay in, but the moisture go out so you’re never sweaty, but always warm and toasty. We live in Sedona up in the north part of the state where we get snow and it gets cold and this underlayer is there and keep you toasty it’s hard to believe you’re wearing anything extra.

Silk crewneck
My husband has purchased about 10 of these shirts over the years. He worked construction and wore them under his many layers in the cold weather. Loves them!

Very thin
Very thin and insubstantial. I was hoping for a heavier wearing cloth. But I’m new to silk, so maybe ephemeral is the point? I’m using this as an underlayer when cross-country skiing in very cold conditions.
