Top Notch Sweater
This is an excellent sweater which I highly recommend to you for your purchase. I choose to wear it with a collared shirt underneath for a more professional look. This is a particularly nice article of clothing to wear on those days when the weather turns colder. A quality item with leather lining around the collar and zipper in the front.

Fit is unflattering to say the least
Just for this sweater and the best version of this sweater as well in size Large. I'm 5'10" and 175 lbs with a 43 inch chest and a fairly athletic build.
Both have very tight wais and a ton of room around the belly/love handle area.
I feel like if I was an overweight couch jockey who wanted to look like I was a rugged outdoorsman I'd be very happy with the fit.
Returning both.

Item not as advertised and not usable
Item NOT as advertised. Item advertised as waterfowl sweater with padded shoulders apparently for cushioning the recoil from a shotgun when shooting waterfowl. Actually, the shoulder portion (on each side) where one would brace the stock of a shotgun is the THINNEST part of the sweater. There is NO padding there. In fact, if they had left those shoulder areas in the same material as the rest of the sweater, then the sweater might actually be useful. Returned item for a refund. Still have not received a refund. My first and probably last time ever dealing with LL Bean.
