The softest long-lasting flannel in the widest range of 100% authentic Scottish tartans.
For over 80 years, we've been making our authentic Scotch Plaid flannel shirts the way we always have: better than everyone else's. Our exclusive flannel fabric is meticulously woven with longer-staple cotton, which means the individual cotton fibers are about one-quarter inch longer than short-staple fibers, making a huge difference in fabric strength and quality. Then, it's meticulously brushed eight times on each side and given a "touch test" by a master weaver to declare it soft enough.
- Each color is carefully matched to the historical tartans in the Scottish registry.

Husband favorite plaid in flannel
Great shirt. Soft and washed well. It does run a bit large. So if you’re in between sizes you may size down for a more normal fit or up for a looser fit. My husband is a true medium in his torso but has wide shoulders so I usually get him large. He definitely could’ve worn the medium but we will keep the large I ordered. Of course he has several flannel shirts but when I saw this particular flannel color (Stewart) I knew I had to get it for him, as that’s the plaid he likes the best - not his clan colors (he’s not even Scottish) but he wears it a lot -he purposefully wears it when he renews his driver license so it’s the same pix for decades.
