Classic Ragg Wool Sweater
This Classic Ragg Wool Crewneck Sweater looks fine and fits fine. However, upon opening the package, the smell was offensive. The odor could have been from the lanolin, but it was more of a chemical smell. I let the sweater air out for a few days, then washed it and the smell has (fortunately) disappeared, so now I can finally wear it. I am happy with this sweater.

Nice sweater, just not for me
I returned it because I just didnt love it and I dont want things in my closet I dont love. There was nothing wrong with the sweater. I would love it if LLBean brought back the old cable knit wool and nylon sweaters. They were warm, not too thick, and held their shape. Just the best sweater.

Ladies ragg wool sweater
I have had 3 other ragg wool sweaters over the years. This one the color was too beige. The ribbing at the bottom was not at all stretchy. Ragg wool typically is more tweedy with some grey, white and very light brown. I did not like the color.

Blue winter sweater
I wanted to like this a little more but it's a little loose or baggy on me, I take a M in all tops and sweaters. It has a mild itch feel to it but it's warm enough. The surprising part was it's hand wash only. There is no way I can put it in my small sink or the large bath tub. I put it in the gentle cycle, low spin and then laid it on a sweater dryer for a day or two. It came out fine. It's pretty and fall like but handwashing is out of the question.

Nice length
I have broad shoulders and often have a hard time finding sweaters that have sleeves long enough. I love the fit of this sweater, not overly bagged and the length is perfect. Not cropped and not overly long. Good thick weight wool without feeling constricting or overly suffocating.
Fits my preppy wardrobe and my rugged outdoor requirements.

Love this sweater!
It is so hard to find a solid wool sweater for women in colors that complement my wardrobe. This sweater is cosy and fits beautifully. It falls nicely at the hip without being boxy looking, and the sleeve length is nice. I just recently purchased this sweater in 2 colors and I know they will be my new favorites this season.
