Perfect Layering
This is my new favorite fall top to wear. Very light weight. Nice length in the arms. I also like the hoodie part as I like something on my head when I get cold. Perfect layering

Great base layer
Got this for a base layer for a September trip to AK. It was perfect: not too much but a nice warm layer for cool mornings.

Nice wool but very tight and fitted
I have had trouble finding anything from LL Bean due to vast differences in sizing. The sizing on this is similar to a fitted Icebreaker and tight around the midsection. Medium is about a size 6 actually. Not flattering on me and too tight to even pull on. Yet the medium of the Beech Point Dress is my size.

Too scratchy - hood restrictive
Unfortunately my strong wool allergy didn't allow me to wear this, try though I might. I can wear some merino but this one was too scratchy, not soft. The hood is very tight and strange fitting as others mention.

Great base layer
I wear this as an extra baser layer on extreme cold days when skiing at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley, Maine. I then wear another heavier base layer on top of it, which makes the cold manageable. I also wear it as a single base layer on the warmer days. The hood is great under a helmet and helps to keep the wind out. It does not itch!
