Does what it says
Having now worn this jacket twice, I can say , i'm very impressed. Decided to go for a XXXL, and there will be enough room for a medium weight layer underneath. Currently wearing just a t-shirt underneath at the moment, and it has been warm enough at 10C / 50F.
Plenty of pockets, and a good fit. All in all, a winner.

Not very warm
Nice jacket at a good price. But there seems to be no insulation on the chest or back, just in the arms. It was not very warm. I have a similar LL Bean jacket purchased 20 years ago that is much warmer.

My second 3-Season Hooded Bomber jacket
I bought this jacket earlier this month in blue at the newly opened LL Bean store in Mechanicsburg, PA. I normally wear size XL; however, buying in the store allowed me to try on both XL and XXL sizes. I decided on the XXL because the sleeves felt somewhat tight (I have thin arms), and I plan on wearing it over a sweater when the weather turns colder. The zipper works smoothly, the lining of the sleeves allows easy slide-in of ones arms, and the hood comes is helpful on windy days. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
