Great shirt if I need a bit of warmth.
I walk 3 miles every morning early. This morning I went out did one lap came back to add this wool long sleeve shirt to take the chill off. Also use it to layer for fishing trips where I start with two to three layers and end up with no shirt. I have recommended it to a friend.

Ultralight base layer
I find thumb holes in sleeves are rather useless and just let cool air in

Lightweight, warm- AWESOME!!
Buy this shirt! It is made of merino wool and high quality. I got on sale, and it is much cheaper than competitors and I would say better quality. This shirt will be a must have in my pack this fall while on trail. If you are on the fence, I recommend BUY!

Always Impressed
This is a Christmas present, so we're months away. I get my son's base layers exclusively from LL Bean since he was 12yrs old & he's now 33yrs old. He loves them. They always perform as described in the catalog.

Love it! Comfortable long sleeved lightweight wool with thumb loops to keep sleeves down where they belong under outer layers. Get a size up, shrinks a bit.

Fits well but very thin and pool quality
I bought two, and one sat in a drawer for 24+ months, but after the first or second wash, the fabric tore. I won't buy again. You would expect better quality from LL. Bean.

Nice shirt
The shirt fits great, I like the finger holes to keep sleeves pulled down. Very soft.

Why so short?
Left the same review for the midweight cresta wool product. Premium feeling product in material and performance, good insulation for it's size and weight. It's a moisture hog. The disappointment is that it's very short compared to every other product I own from bean (which is dozens of products) in the same size. Still usable and wearable but will be more enjoyable with a ski bib as there isn't much material to tuck into a standard fitting ski pant.
