The “850”
I suppose I should give other LL Bean winter jackets a try, but since I have discovered the “850”, it’s the only one for me. With appropriate layering, it is the most comfortable and warm jacket I have owned…even to zero degrees! Love the color selection that Bean offers, I don’t believe you will be disappointed in any way with the “850”!

Great features but bad color
I bought the gold which I love. But the down feathers showed through the light colored jacket material, making it look dirty. Every seam was gray and the whole jacket looked striped because of the lightweight shell. Otherwise would have loved it!

Wanted to love it
I bought a regular small in an older version. It fit perfectly. Even petite small in this newer version was too big. Am I the only one experiencing size issues. I am 5’6” and 1/2 and weigh 118.. The older version had a lined collar and a not a dropped shoulder.. Disappointing

Love this parka
Love this parka! Warm & roomy enough for a vest or heavy sweater. Ordered my usual size medium petite as I don’t like my parka too long. Sleeves are the right length for me as I have long arms.

The down makes dark lines through the shell.
I love these jackets. Aside from the color, I like everything about this jacket. I have 3 hooded. This color though, shows the down and not in a good way. I’m also not a fan of the speckled interior.
