Made to fit fat men
Like many shirts from L. L. Bean, it seems to have been made for an obese man, (tight across the chest and huge around the belly area). I think I'm average build, (6 ft, 200 lbs). The quality seemed good, but the fit is awful. I just wish they would make shirts for the 60% of Americans who are not obese. The "slightly fitted" line of shirts is even smaller across the chest and is no help.

son's favorite
My son is 6'6" and needs Tall XL. He loves this shirt but already has the coal and blue. Would love the dark barkley too, or some other colors in Tall XL!!

Good shirt
I've had two of these and they work great. I just wish it had snaps instead of buttons. Snaps are so much easier to deal with when your hands are cold.

Don't wear this shirt in a real hurricane!!!
Don't wear this in a Hurricane! Get a motorcycle helmet and medieval armor to protect yourself from flying debris! That said, this a fabulous over shirt for those cool fall days for an afternoon of raking leaves or a stroll in the woods. Even a little surprise drizzle.
The craftsmanship is excellent, quality's top drawer.
