Rated 5 out of 5 by Bemus from Slim Fit Happiness Have always loved the quality of LL Bean dress shirts, but have had challenges with the fit. I am 5'7" and 168 lbs. Started with Traditional Fit. Felt like these were sewn by Omar the Tentmaker. Changed to Trim Fit. Not much better. Now that you have Slim Fit, I'm a happy boy. The fit is perfect, along with the quality. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Mike357 from Only one button on the cuff? The cuffs on this shirt are quite large, and for some reason, it only includes a single button on the cuff? It is impossible to wear under a suit jacket because the cuff bunches up, as it is too large and cannot be buttoned further. Even without a jacket, the large cuffs hang over my hands. Why only a single button, and on the very edge of the cuff? Seems a poor choice to cut costs, now I have to have an extra button sewn on all four shirts I ordered to make them functional. The shirts are otherwise nice, but it is such an egregious design flaw that I cannot rate the shirt any higher than one star.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Momto3YoungMen from A good shirt but at least an inch too short My college age son needed a new, quality white button down. It needed to not billow and be heavy enough that it was not see through. My husband has worn and liked L.L. Bean oxfords for years, but not in anything close to a "slim." fit. After trying to find one in stores, I decided to try ordering this shirt. The quality of the shirt is fine but the body length of this shirt (15-32) is really, really short. I realize that you are trying to make shirts proportional and a 32 arm length is not that long, but with young men wearing lower rise pants, this is not going to stay tucked in well. And it is noticeably shorter than other shirts ordered for a different son from a prominent shirt maker for height challenged men. Very nice shirt but it you are over 5'7" and have a smaller neck and arm size, watch out.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AtlanticAveBrooklyn from Great Shirt I bought two white and two blue because I was tired of spending $150+ for shirts and wanted some additional, reliable stand by's. This shirt far exceeded my expectations. Slim fit is similar to a Pink slim fit. Can't recommend enough.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Trim from Poor size selection Sometime in the past 18 months, Bean reduced the available sizes for en's dress shirts, esp Oxford cloth. They no longer are offered in a 34" or longer sleeve with a 15" neck size, and nothing longer than 32" for a 14.5" neck. Don't bother looking on their web site. They just confirmed Bean no longer sells these sizes. Too bad. For years I have purchased all of my dress shirts from Bean. They have succumbed to limiting their selection so that trim people can not find their size.

Rated 1 out of 5 by 2019LongTallBeaner from Not For Tall People I purchased 3 of these shirts as gifts in 3 different colors, all 16 neck, 36, sleeve. As a long-time LL Bean customer and tall person, I know that the body of a Bean shirt is supposed to be long (tall) if you purchase sleeve length 36 or 37. All 3 shirts measured 18-inch body (from under arm seam to hip). All my other tall Bean shirts measure measure 20-inches from under arm seam to hip. These shirts are 2-inches SHORT in the body! Additionally, only the white colored shirt actually had 36-inch sleeves. The other 2 colored shirts measured 35-inch sleeves. All shirts were labeled correctly. All the shirts were too short for a tall person and all were returned for a refund.
