Rated 1 out of 5 by Tootie2 from Sadly NO Longer Perfect I just purchased a Navy pair if these pants and they have lost their perfection!!! I will not buy another. I must own 12 or more pairs of these pants that I purchased in 2012 and 2013, half here at home and half in our Florida condo. Most are the cropped pant with pockets and the others the long pant with pockets. The pockets are no longer flat and attached to a tummy panel. The fabric is NOT the LLBean quality I am used to. They do NOT fit the same. Please go back to the original fit and design. The BEST ones were the ones from 2012 made in Vietnam, Much better fabric and fit. They have gone down hill and are not worth purchaseng even on sale.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LoveToWearBean from So disappointed with the changes in these pants I have been wearing these cropped pants daily for many, many Spring and Summers and have loved them. The latest ones I ordered are not the same. 1. lighter weight fabric (which now bags out and stretches out of shape, the heavier weight did not) 2. pockets are much smaller, so even my chapstick falls out, and keeping my cellphone in there isn't even an option 3. no tummy panel which helped to keep the pockets in place. I AM SO DISSAPOINTED!!! I feel these changes may have been made to save on manufacturing costs, but the result is a cheaper fabric and style that does not perform like the originals. Very disappointed!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by JNat from New Pocket Style is Disappointing I ordered the Perfect Fit Crop pants. These are my 4th pair of Perfect Fit pants - and I was very excited to get them. The fit was great (M/Petite) but the pockets bunched up and the pocket seam lines showed through the material. Plus the pockets were not as deep as the previous pairs. When I compared these new pants to the old ones - all my old pants have a front panel connecting the pockets and the pocket style is round. The new pants, the pocket shape is square. LL Bean - I purchase your clothing for a consistent fit and quality. Can you make all your Perfect Pants the same? The crops are going back. I am disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by COLORADOARIZONA from Disappointed I HAVE PURCHASED MANY PETITE PERFECT FIT PANTS AND CROPPED PANTS. I AM VERY DISAPPONTED IN THE MATERIAL OF THESE GRAY/HEATHER CROPPED PANTS. THEY FEEL MORE LIKE SWEAT PANT MATERIAL, ALTHOUGH NOT AS HEAVY. THESE ARE MADE IN CAMBODIA AND NOT IN VIETNAM, LIKE SO MANY THAT I PURCHASED. THOSE, YOU COULD DRESS UP OR DOWN. I DON’T FEEL THAT WAY WITH THESE. I WOULD RECOMMEND THESE IF THE PERSON IS NOT INTERESTED IN BEING ABLE TO DRESS THEM UP. GROCERY SHOPPING, ETC. WOULD WORK. I WOULD NOT WEAR THEM TO WORK. THE NAVY BLUE CROPPED PANTS MATERIAL IS NOT THE SAME AS PERFECT FIT PANTS. AGAIN NOT MADE IN VIETNAM. THEY ARE CONFORTABLE THOUGH.

Rated 2 out of 5 by MichiganGirl48 from Fabric issue I have a couple of pairs of these pants that are pretty old. They were a 60 cotton/40 polyester blend. The new pants, 90 cotton/10 spandex, unfortunately feel and look like an old 1980 leisure suit. The legs are 1/2 inch less wide; I wear a knee brace and this difference is crucial. The pockets are smaller and the length is too long. I've been a Bean customer for many years and have been disappointed with the quality of recent purchases. I know cost cutting is an issue but some items feel like bargain store quality. Reasonable price increases while maintaining quality is what I'm trying to keep the faith for.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Brielle from Love These Pants I've been wearing Perfect Fit pants for many years. I just started wearing the cropped Perfect Fit pants last year and I absolutely love them! I'm 5'3" and 200 lbs, and the petite XL fit amazingly well. I would say the fit is probably a bit larger than normal, which is why I can fit into an XL and not go into a plus size (which would cost me more money). They wash well too. The pockets are small, but since I never use pants pockets, this does not affect me at all. They feel nice on your legs too, great material. I have black, grey, and stone colors. I'm waiting on the navy blue which is on backorder until after Christmas.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Nelham from Almost Perfect Crops I like these crops very much; I bought them in navy & black. I don't mind that they are on the longer side, but everything is that way on me because I'm under 5'. What I really don't like is that the pockets are so small. Why didn't they make the pockets the same size as the perfect fit pants? I just don't understand the rationale; the items we want to carry aren't any smaller just because the legs of the pants are somewhat shorter! I have to be careful what I put in them. The Comfort Trail Pants (which are also crops) have much better pockets. These pants wash and dry beautifully. I really want to give them 3 1/2 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by AmyLouise62 from Great and comfortable! Love these pants, whether cropped or regular length. I have both. I use them for yoga, going to physical therapy after hip replacements (yay!), quick shopping trips. As long as I have my behind covered, they look pretty classy with most of my tops and jackets. It's getting more difficult to wear regular pants as I get older, for comfort sake. I really hate the jeans and other type pants with the "little extra stretch from lycra". They seem too tight at my regular size, but I love these. I usually wear a 16 or 18 and own the XL. I'll probably be wearing bib overalls pretty soon. Just turned 62, had to retire for a while.
