Rated 1 out of 5 by Isom from Bring back older version Please bring back the older version of this coat. I have the older one without a liner and desperately wanted to buy one with a removable liner. I've read the reviews and so many ask you to bring back the older version. It fit better for a wide range of body styles and would never go out of style--CLASSIC. I've been buying LL Bean clothing for myself for years. I was always confident I could go back and buy the same sweaters, pants, etc. NOW, even the button front Double L Cable sweaters have been replaced with zippers. I don't like the zippers as they make the sweater come too high up on the neck. LL Bean, you're letting me down!

Rated 2 out of 5 by Kwick from Keeps me dry, BUT... Bought this item after looking everywhere for a WaterProof coat that is insulated and also long enough to Not let water drain onto my thighs like most Parkas do. It does keep me dry but the liner Barely keeps me warm at 40 degrees F. The material feels Thin & Cheap (chintzy). I usually wear Medium in L.L.Bean clothing, but the Med. in this item was Too Tight in the hips and "Puffed Out" in the front giving me a Bigger Belly Look. I went up to a Large, but still it will only allow for a very thin sweater underneath. Last of all, Bad Pocket Design. There are No inside pockets at all. On the outside only 2 hip-level pockets and they have no zippers or proper flaps to keep out water.

Rated 5 out of 5 by bashamartin from This coat is terrific I love this coat so much i have purchased 3 for my family members as well. Very comfortable, perfect length (just above the knees for great rain protection), the color is perfect... very rich and classy. the lining zips in and out easily to make this an all season coat. For the winter liner, i love how there is a tab contained within the sleeve to hold the lining in place perfectly....this may seem like a small detail, but it is indictative of the attention to detail of this coat...normally i would not buy a longer coat such as this as it is annoying while driving. this coat however fits perfectly and is very very comfortable.....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mel12 from just what I needed I needed a coat for a fall trip where I expect chilly and rainy weather. The longer length and zip-out lining sold me. I am short and round, and found a review from someone who described themselves the same way & rather than get a petite I went with their recommendation and got a 1X. Glad I did. The coat keeps my legs dry, the sleeves are not overly long and while it gaps slightly when snapped, the zipper makes for a smooth fit. Only complaints I have are that there are no inside pockets, and while the outer pockets are deep, they do not have a zipper, snap or flap. Others have mentioned the coat is noisy, I have not found that to be an issue.

Rated 4 out of 5 by traveldiva33 from Great fit, dry but not warm The fit on the coat is true to size and perfect for petites. The beautiful orchid/hot pink color gets lots of compliments and brightens rainy days. It is stylish enough to wear at night with dressier clothes but also looks great with jeans. Adjustable hood and side panels make the fit even better. The coat is dry on rainy days, truly waterproof but it is not warm, even with the liner. If its chilly and rainy-below 55 degrees-you need a sweater or fleece underneath, which adds bulk and is not so comfortable. Sad because it limits the seasons in which I can wear this pretty coat. Overall it is a good quality, dry coat for spring.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Anabhuv from Update I purchased this rain coat in PM navy blue.Have been using for a week regularly and I would like to update my opinion. Its a classic rain coat,I feel it’s lacking in two things pockets are not deep enough out side and no security closures.Keeping a two big deep pockets with zip closure should definitely be very very useful.secondly the hood can be tucked in so that can be taken out when and if needed.other than that it’s perfect in every angle. Pls bring more colors like merlot, wine, chartreuse, olive green.with improved pockets.for female keeping deep pocket in left chest inside can’t store anything and will look very odd.

Rated 5 out of 5 by eully from Favorite Coat I bought this for a three week trip to Scotland in March/April. There would be WIND, SNOW and RAIN. Temps down to 25 or third with wind. I was never cold. I had on a turtleneck and a wool sweater and this coat and was perfectly warm in every outdoors situation, including on a ferry to the Island of Ornkey off the northern coast. Now I wear it locally in Wisconsin for my daily hike. We've had windchills in single digits lately, and this coat keeps me warm. I'm usually unzipping it partway through the hike. I love that it is long too. I would only wish for deeper pockets or an extra pocket.

Rated 2 out of 5 by WashDCCommuter from Poor design I was pleased to find a 3/4 coat with an integrated hood that was lightweight. However, the fabric is crunchy and hot and makes me sweat. The hood is WAY too big! Even with the snaps fastened at the neck, the hood is so enormous that you can't see where you are going and I am not a small person! It falls forward over your face completely blocking your vision. I have to keep shoving it back on my head which then defeats the purpose of the front "bill" to keep rain off of your face. It just falls back over my face anyway so the hood is useless to me. Very poor design and I would not recommend this coat.
