Rated 5 out of 5 by from Size and Fit I am normally a size 8, 8.5 in sandals. I have an arch and my toes are pretty wide. I have to get a half size up in sandals because my toes fall off the shoe! Anyway. I decided to get a size 7 Wide in Insulated Bean Boots. THEY FIT PERFECTLY! I was afraid that they would be too large, so I went a size down, but I went wide because I usually wear fuzzy socks with boots. The shoes are very comfortable and I am happy to be able to walk in puddles, no problem! They are good with fuzzy socks or thin socks. The boots come a size larger than what you'd normally get. And I have small calves, so I am able to tie them all the way up. They are great.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm, comfortable, dry, good grip, excellent fit. I have relied on LLB boots such as these new ones for at least 30 years and use them very frequently for safe hiking activities in wetlands and on the beach. Crossing small streams is not a concern and they grip well in mud and on steep hills. I was surprised at the cost of these new boots, but they're worth every penny! I also have a pair that are not insulated, and there's a dramatic difference. With good wool/elastic blend socks that stay snug, I just don't get cold or have rubbed spots with these well fitting insulated boots. Thank you LLBean. You help make the outdoors a great adventure in fun - not in endurance.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic, after a sizing battle! I normally wear an 8, and sometimes (rarely) an 8.5. I followed the directions and ordered a size 7. The boots felt a bit narrow and tight on the side of my foot, and my toes didn't have enough room. The customer service department was amazingly helpful. They sent me an 8 and a 7-Wide to try. The 8 was HUGE, the 7-Wide also too big - my foot could move around too much, which made my toes hit the front of the boot. After trying those on, I put the 7 on and it felt really good. I went with the size 7 - I suspect it takes some time for the boots to break in, so they don't feel amazing right away.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from They're perfect I finally decided to upgrade a really old pair of Bean boots that were handed down to me and I'm SO glad I did. I have not stopped wearing these and I'll wear them all winter long. The lining is soft and comfortable and somehow my feet manage to stay perfectly warm without overheating. It's magic. They slip on easily and I barely have to lace them up to walk comfortably in them. I normally wear in 8.5 in most shoes, a 9 in running shoes, and I ordered these in an 8 regular width. They fit perfectly. I've only worn them with regular socks so far but I think I could fit thick wool socks as well, it would just be a bit snug

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you don't know already. . . These boots really need no introduction, and probably no review. I bought my Bean Boots for riding. I had been looking at muck boots to wear in wet/cold weather, and figured I'd try the classic Bean Boot. They rock! With the Gortex liner, this boot is ultra water proof and warm. I wore them riding with just a thin pair of boot socks and my toes were toasty and dry. They are also really comfy and the tread keeps you from slipping. Best part, when they are all nasty and dirty, I just hose them off. With the even sizes only, they do run a little bit, but the plus is it leaves plenty of room for a nice thick sock. Love this boot! Worth the price tag.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Read the reviews on sizing before you buy! I LOVE these boots. This is my first pair of Bean Boots. I had thought about getting them for awhile, and I finally pulled the trigger back in September. They were back-ordered (to be expected) and just arrived before the first snow in Chicago (before Thanksgiving). I have loved wearing them around in the rain and snow. They are just perfect and I'm so glad that I ordered Size 7 (Medium width). Even though I usually wear an 8 in boots (7.5 in other shoes), I followed the reviews and it worked out great. I typically describe myself as a 7.5-8 size with a narrow heel. If that describes you, go for the Size 7! ENJOY!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great boot I don't know why I waited so long to get a pair of these boots for myself. I purchased several pairs for my grandchildren and after doing lots of shoveling with cold and wet feet I purchased a pair. I normally wear 8 or 8 1/2 and based on the reviews the first pair I ordered was a size 7 which was snug with regular stockings. I also had ordered the thinsulate but not with the gore-tex which I what I really wanted. I went to the store and found that I really needed the wide width (which is not what I really wear) which fits awesome with heavy socks. Love the Gore-tex. My feet now are warm and dry when I am out shoveling. Wish I had them for the beginning of this winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love these Boots! Be sure to follow "the ordering size suggestions" when ordering. I normally take a sz 8 and I ordered down to a sz 7 and they fit great with a lot of wiggle room in the toes wearing a medium wgt sock and the liner in. My foot is a narrow to average width so I ordered average because I have a very high instep. This worked perfectly because the tongue is sewn in to the side of the boot almost right to the top. They are "brand new stiff" but for brand new still comfortable being right out of the box. After wearing a few times and getting the ME wrinkles in them, they will be perfect! Just follow the sizing instructions and you will love them too! Thank you BRADY at Bean for making these fine boots!
