Sateen White Goose Down Comforter, Warmer is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 18.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not worth the money I bought the queen size 20 years ago and I still love it. When we up-sized to a king bed, it was only reasonable to buy the same comforter. Boy was I wrong! I don't know if they changed manufacturers, but the quality is not what it used to be. The new comforter is thin and the feathers constantly fall to the bottom. It is a daily battle to keep everything even. This comforter is not worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from SO WARM! The master bedroom in the new house we just bought doesn’t have a direct heat source (strange, right?)! I started getting chilly at night and decided I didn’t want 15 blankets to fight with. Let me tell you - this comforter is WARM! It is the only thing we sleep under at night and I am STILL toasty (and even too hot sometimes). Mind you, it is January here in Maine right now so I would say it is doing a perfect job! The down stays spread out very evenly - I’ve never had a problem! I have 2 flannel covers for it - just perfect!!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Leaks. Imagine Willow fluff This comforter leaks like crazy. It almost ruined the dark navy comforter cover – imagine it being covered with willow fluff. Warm-wise, I guess it is warm initially, but not different from my 8 year old down. After so much leak, I don't know. If it is not indeed less warm, I definitely feel that way. In general, huge disappointment.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Down Comforter! We've had down comforters for 20 years in Queen size. We just moved to Florida from the northeast - New York for 18 years and Massachusetts for 2 years, so we know "cold". We bought new bedroom furniture for our new home (a King-size bed) so I needed all new bedding. I wasn't willing to give up sleeping under down just because we are in FL - in my opinion, there is nothing like it for luxurious sleeping. I originally ordered the "Warm" version for the FL climate, but it didn't seem to be "puffy/fluffy" enough for my liking. So I ordered the Warmer version and it's wonderful. Definitely not too warm. I also bought the pima cotton comforter cover to keep it clean and protected, but I'm now searching for a more decorative duvet cover to dress up our new bedroom. This down comforter is just beautiful. FYI, the online description omits the fact that the comforter has corner loops for securing to a duvet cover, but it DOES have corner loops. Another reason for giving it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love my new comforter This one replaces a tired 20 year old one that was leaking down prodigiously and needed to be augmented with 3 extra blankets. But not this new one! This one is quite wonderful! It’s very light-weight. The warmth always seems to be just right. I did put on a duvet cover to keep it clean, which makes it a little heavier, but not excessively so. Making the bed is super easy now, with just the sheets and the comforter to straighten up and fluff up a bit. We have a queen size on a full size bed because my husband is a blanket hog in his sleep, so this way there’s plenty of blanket for me. No feathers or down leaking, the down fill is pretty evenly spread, it’s hypoallergenic, no down shifting from one square to another. It’s a cool spring here in Vermont right now. In another month or so we’ll have to part with the comforter for the summer, but I look forward to it keeping us cozy again next fall and winter. I did quite a search before selecting this one. There are many inferior brands out there. This one is pricey, but well worth the money. I say go for this one, if you can. I think you’ll be glad. We certainly are.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Sleeping under a cloud We decided our new mattress deserved a new comforter. This is the lightest, softest, warmest comforter we could imagine, yet somehow it's never too warm to keep us at a comfortable sleeping temperature.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I’m in love! After trying and returning several down comforters from other stores, I decided to try LL Bean. I am so glad I did! This comforter is perfect. It doesn’t make a rustling sound as others did. It is big and fluffy, making my bed so luxurious. I have a flannel duvet cover from LL Bean and it makes the perfect combination. I LOVE to go to bed at night.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from It's nice enough Interesting LLBean description is pretty proud of this: "Made in USA of imported materials." when the tag on the comforter clearly reads 'Made in China'. So they get you on semantics - fabric sourced in China and stitched in the USA? BFD, at this price point I am disappointed. That said, it's a nice comforter. I have only noticed a couple of quills mixed in with the down.
