        Rated 3 out of 5 by from Way too small. I wear regular extra-large and usually I don't have any problems with (short sleeve) shirts and sweaters. However, this jacket runs way too small: only with difficulty I was able to insert my arms in the sleeves (very tight in the shoulders!) and then I got stuck! My arms were too big for the tiny sleeves. I spent a few minutes trying to slide out of the jacket (the fleece sleeves didn't help!). I have returned the item. I was tempted to get the XXL size, but the sleeve would have been too long for me (I am 5"9'). On the positive side, the jacket gave me the impression of being of good quality.

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from Almost perfect Bought this jacket because I needed a lightweight packable jacket and because it reminded me of a similar one I bought in Bermuda almost 50 years ago that I wore for about 20 years until it got too raggedy to be seen in public. Age has shrunk me so I've switched from Large to Medium and this jacket is on the small side. Still bought it because once it's on, it's fine. Wish the arm holes had been cut just a skosh bigger to make it easier to get into. Also, the hood on the 50 year old version folded into a pocket in the collar, a nice touch. Other than that it has been great! 1

        Rated 2 out of 5 by from Way Too Small Ordered my usual size for this jacket, but when it arrived I was shocked at how tight fitting it was. It's supposed to be a jacket, not a slim fitting tee shirt. I exchanged it for a XL and that was acceptable, but even that fit a little more snug than I expected.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Hooded waterproof rain jacket. Blocks wind and repels rain. Inside pocket is useful. The Velcro-closure hand pockets work well, deep enough. Hod fits snugly when jacket is zipped up. I got the size XL, though I usually war L, so that I can comfortably wear sweatshirt hoodie or other layers beneath I’m colder weather and that works very well so far. It does get pretty warm indoors or when walking fast and heating up. Gets a bit sweaty in those situations. It has been good for three seasons so far.

        Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent I for years have worn the LLB foul weather sailing jacket--routinely, as I live in Florida in the Winter and we have quite a bit of rain. While the jacket was indeed waterproof, the material was somewhat stiff. I bought this as a substitute to try and it's an outstanding product. The material is soft and it is absolutely waterproof. If I had to make a suggestion, it would be that it could be 2" longer, though it's only an inch shorter the foul weather jackets I'm used to.

It fits well, is not clammy and is cooler than my Gortex rain jackets that are great in the spring and fall but too warm for summer.

        Rated 4 out of 5 by from This seems like a good quality jacket but I bought the size I normally wear in LLBEAN clothes. However, I am returning the jacket because it was too tight for me. I was wearing a T-shirt and although I could zip it up, it was too tight to wear more than a T-shirt underneath.
