Rated 1 out of 5 by BROJOE from Not like he regular traditional fit These slightly-fitted-around-the-waist sun washed canvas shirts do not fit in the neck like the traditional fit. The amount of cloth around the collar is about 1/4" less than the traditional fit. This makes the shirt ride high under your chin and it looks bad (cheap) for this reason. Before I ordered I was told these fitted shirts fit exactly like the traditional fit except they were a bit smaller in the wait. This is not true. However, once you get below the neck the fitted part is nice and the shirt does fit the same as the traditional fit. But the lack of material in the neck is a design flaw that should be corrected. I returned mine.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Clarksquatch from Substantial Shirt This shirt is substantial. In a good way. It's a heavy canvas, but not too heavy. I ordered the spice plaid and it's a nice color scheme. Not too bright, colors are a bit muted, which I like actually. I will have this shirt for many years I assume. Only reason why I'm only giving it 4 stars is because a) it wrinkled quite a bit in the wash, and b) the XL, while true to size in body and sleeve length, it is a bit baggier than I would like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jake from Great Fitting Shirt The shirt is comfortable even when you stretch out your arms straight ahead. The pockets are full sized to hold a large cell phone. The slightly tapered sides make the shirt fit well. The thickness of the cloth will make it last a long time. The colors are rich and bright.

Rated 3 out of 5 by CardiganGirl from grear shirt, except... The sleeves are way too long. My husband has been wearing LLBean clothing for over 30 years, the fit in the body is fine, but the sleeve length renders this shirt unwearable...such a shame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Customer47 from One-size smaller for slim men I bought this shirt at my local LLBean store and I ended up buying a size smaller than I usually do to make it fit my slim body slightly better. I bought the on-sale orange spice color and it looks fantastic. The fabric is very high quality canvas and goes well with my LLBean canvas pants. The stitching is also top-notch. I think this shirt is going to last me for a very long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanShellyJ from Not Tall My husband has many of these shirts in regular large. Reading the reviews, I ordered a tall. I should have ordered a large. This may not be a roomy as last year's pattern in this shirt, but my husband still needs a regular large like every other one of these shirts that he has in his closet and wears every day.

Rated 3 out of 5 by TrickyDick from Not Canvas I have three other LL Bean Sun Washed Canvas shirts which I love. However, today I received the Cayenne plaid one and the material does NOT have a canvas feel like my other three. Like the colors but disappointed in the ‘soft’ feel of the material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Babette from Great! Glad this shirt comes in plaid now, a nice change from all the solid colored ones I also own. Best of all is the new, slightly fitted feature, so it's not as full around the bottom. Looks good with everything.
