Men's Lakewashed Denim Shirt, Traditional Fit Long-Sleeve is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 143.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Okay, but light material I liked the cut of the shirt, the two pockets and the overall style of this log sleeved denim shirt. What was disappointing was the weight of the material used in the shirt. It was, in my opinion, VERY light!!! It would be acceptable for casual wear around town, but I wouldn't want to wear this shirt if I was going to be spending much time outdoors, in the woods, camping, hiking or even just working around the property. That would take a denim with more weight and body to it so it would give good service and LAST. Unfortunately, I don't expect this shirt to wear as I had hoped for (and expected!) a $60.00 shirt like this from L.L.Bean to wear.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Denim Shirt Well made shirt, but pockets are getting smaller. I purchased a denim shirt from a competitor during the interval when L.L.Bean did not offer them and found that it would be a challenge to get a saltine cracker into a breast pocket. Then I noticed that the denim shirts were once again available at L.L.Bean. Saved!, or I thought. The pockets have been reduced in size, but only a little. Okay. I hope this design trend does not continue. These are work shirts, not fashion statements. Pockets should be functional.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice shirt I really love the shirt. Like everything else made by L.L. Bean the materials and construction qualities are excellent. It is a good mid-weight denim which is moderately warm and very comfortable. Soft hand, not stiff. You could wear this for all four seasons except for exceptionally warm summer days. Design is nice and simple. I don’t care for western styling with fancy pockets, elaborate stitching or snaps. Very basic stitch lines and dark buttons. This looks like it Will be very durable and I will enjoy it for a long time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Long, Long, Time Ago After a patient wait I found this shirt available to order. Wore these shirts back in the day.Ordered 2 & when they arrived, proceeded to evaluate them. Not quite as heavy as I remember them. ( about 50 years ago) Still nice looking, & soft to the touch. Fit was right on. When I 1st put them on, noticed the buttonholes seemed slightly small? Made buttoning a little challenging. Nice contrasting stitching, 2 nice breast pockets w/ buttons ( would've liked flaps) & 1 has a sewn pocket for a pen (thus making left pocket slightly narrower) Almost 3 months of wear & numerous laundering, they held up fine, fading very little. Buttons seem long lasting? However, recently noticed some have lost their black finish exposing white underneath. Surmise probably due to the tight buttonholes ?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from love it. I read other reviews that said it was too light weight. I disagree. The denim is very high quality and is double and triple stitched every where. Also complaints about the buttons. My hands are the size of baseball mits and I have arthritis. I have no problem with buttons on this shirt. The fit and lock are more than I expected.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Would be perfect if it was button down collars I bought 4 for my husband years ago when you still had ones with button down collars. They are so worn out, ready for the rag bin. I had to throw one away as the fabric was so frayed from years of use that the fabric was torn. He will only wear button down collars. Would you please bring them back!!!???PLEASE!!!??? I won't be able to get much more use out of them. They are probably close to 15 years old, maybe older.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Comfortable, great fit, well made. This shirt fits me well and is comfortable. Nice in the cool weather. I've been waiting for BEAN to offer their denim shirts again. I have owned some in previous years and was very satisfied with them. Comparing this shirt to those, this one feels just as good, although this one feels like the material is thinner. Comparing this shirt to similar denim shirts sold by competition,,,this one comes out way ahead.I bought two. The quality is there, and I recommend it.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from shirt The button holes on the shirt and sleeve are too small, make it very difficult to simply button the shirt up. I would buy a lot more stuff from LL Bean if it did not have your name plastered all over it. I understand the shirt on the back of the collar on the insight but I am not interested in all the garments saying LL Bean on the breast plate for example. Generally decent stuff but I do not work for the LL Bean marketing department. RWV
