He’s now 20, and the bags are still in heavy rotation on camping trips and at home. Our younger son has slept in his bag most nights for the past five years. I wash it constantly and it still looks new. Our cats love to burrow in next to him, and they love the sleeping bags too! We have TONS of camping gear including more technical sleeping bags for backpacking, etc. and we still use these all the time. This is a home run product!

I am impressed that, after so many years, LL Bean is still committed to making and selling quality merchandise. The first LL Bean sleeping bag that I purchased back in the 1970s was a down bag. I still have it and use it every winter indoors as a blanket. It is still in excellent condition.

    Rated 3 out of 5 by from Red is more like Burgundy This is a great sleeping bag. However, the colors are a little misleading. The red is more like burgundy colored. I have a fuschia adult -20Deg F sleeping bag I bought about 7 years ago, and the red color of this one is nearly the same as the fuschia. My son still likes it, but the photos and color in real life don't match.
