Rated 1 out of 5 by rupicolous from Pillow not as described Had two earlier camp pillows from about 5 years ago, which were great little pillows. Just bought two more, but upon receiving them discovered that the reverse side is not soft brushed polyester as advertised, but rather is slippery, uncomfortable nylon fabric (like tent fabric). It will not be pleasant against your skin, and if reversed, will slip and slide off your Therm-a-rest so you will wake up with your head on your arm, a stiff neck, and a pillow jammed in the corner of the tent. Disappointing. LL Bean, as always, will take care of it, but returning products is always a pain in the butt.

Rated 3 out of 5 by MaineRoma from Better Before! I purchased this pillow about a year ago for my daughter to take on a Girl Scout camping weekend. Loved that it packed up small, has own carry sack, yet was soft enough to be a decent - if smaller sized - pillow. Bought one for myself, but material on backing is slippery nylon!! Don't like this design change! It's not soft on both sides, and suspect it will be sliding around my sleeping bag - which does not have a sewn in pillow sleeve. Could put on a pillow case, but that seems silly. Too bad.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Hedgeworth from Security pillow I bought this pillow several years ago to take with me on long train trips, and it has held up well. Although pillows are provided in the sleeper, I feel better with my own pillow. It's comfortable, a good size (and I know where it's been). Maybe the stuff sacks have changed since I bought mine, but there was no way I could ever stuff the pillow back in. That doesn't really matter to me because the pillow fits conveniently into the Adventure Duffel I bring on the train. The pillow would work well in coach, too, or even on a plane. It's unlikely mine will ever go camping, but it serves its travel purpose well.

Rated 2 out of 5 by JMQT from Want to like them I bought 4 of these pillows and we've brought them camping several times, but neither my kids, husband or I find them comfortable. I think there are a couple issues. One side is a comfy flannel material, but the back is slick nylon. The pillows are overly stuffed, so when I lay on it, it slides around because of the slick nylon. They look great, compact, and I have no issue getting them back in the stuff bag, but no one in my family wants to use them.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Patman122 from Dang it Been getting these camp pillows for years. They had to mess with a good product and chintz out on materials. Back side is now slick nylon which doesn't work with pillows and there's noticeably less filling so it is much less supportive than the previous versions. Disappointed.

Rated 3 out of 5 by BeauxBeaux from Comfy but won't stay put This pillow is very comfortable, but with a major flaw. I haven't been able to enjoy the flannel side as when it is laid on the side with nylon it won't stay put and is constantly sliding around my sleeping bag. We bought two of these, and while the size is nice, I think It is slightly overpriced for what it is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by StillaGirlScout from Flannel Camp Pillow that is so comfortable. I doubted that the pillow would be fluffy enough for me, as I often use two pillows. I was pleasantly surprised as I took it to Girl Scout camp the day after it arrived. I noticed some of the comments did not like it, as they could not replace it in the stuff bag in which it came. I had more trouble removing it from the bag than replacing it. Once I placed the smooth side on the outside and it worked fine . . . in and out of the bag.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DChasher from Good nights sleep I don't like taking a large pillow camping - and I would never take the one off my bed at home. Bugs, leaves...yuk! This pillow is perfect. It's soft on my face and not too warm on a summer's night. Sure, it's not easy to get back into the sack, but hey it's for camping. If you want easy, get a hotel room!
