    Construction
    • Raised border helps contain water; can hold up to 1½ gallons of water per square yard.
    • Thickness/door clearance: ¼".
    • Rubber backing.
    • 24 oz. polyester fabric is made from at least 90% recycled polyester.
    • Crush-resistant waffle design, with thick and thin fibers for scraping dirt and containing water.

It did its job well recently as we had an unexpected window leak after a heavy rain. It was completely soaked and yet, unlike other rugs we had, dried easily overnight and went back in place to do its thing. Worth every penny...and it is a lovely blue color as well!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Defect Normally I love LL Bean quality, but my water hog arrived today with this defect shown in the photo— the rubber lining on the bottom continues onto the top corner as if it wasn’t cut properly or isn’t enough grey padding on top. My other water hogs don’t have this.
