Rated 4 out of 5 by SadieSus from Love this slipper, but.......size not as described For the following reason, I give the product a 4 star rating: The product description states that if you wear a half size, you should order 1/2 size larger, so I did. I wear 7 1/2 and ordered size 8 and it was HUGE! It flew off my foot when walking and was extremely wide. So my only choice was to order a size 7 - and it fits perfectly. I think they should update their description. Otherwise, the new size 7 fits and is an awesome slipper and the product itself is a 5 star item. It is so warm and toasty, and I especially love the arch support, because I have a pronation on both feet. The rubber sole is firm but flexible. Love this slipper.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Charl25 from Looks great, nothing else is To look at the picture, one would think that these slippers have a felt surface with a soft, flexible upper attached to a hard sole, but the upper is hard and unyielding, like a straitjacket for the foot; you can't just wiggle your foot into the slipper, but have to push it in forcibly. The width may call itself "B," but it isn't an American "B," it's a Chinese "B," made for a smaller foot. (I've worn "B" width shoes for the better part of my 71 years.) The hard upper squeezing the foot is most uncomfortable. The synthetic shearling lining is rough to the touch and also uncomfortable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Darbycat from Great! I ordered the "dog" appliqué slippers for myself last Christmas. I absolutely love them. They fit true to size. After wearing them over time, they will stretch and the fleece lining inside will flatten out as expected. I find these so comfortable that often times I forget to take them off and I've been known to hop in my car to do errands or take the kids to school etc., without realizing I haven't changed out of my slippers. As a result, I've had tons of compliments on them and have probably sold at least 4 pairs+ for LLBean on my referrals from when friends and strangers alike ask me where I've purchased them. I will be ordering another pair soon.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RNN1545 from Cute and warm These are my first pair of day break scuffs... ive always worn the wicked good clogs which i thought were great until i tried these new slippers. The wicked good clogs fell apart on me quick and i had NO CLUE what to try next. I "slipper hop" with LL Bean so I took a gamble on the day break scuffs and im glad i did... so far at least. I've had them a week and at first they hurt my feet (my baby toes) which irriatated me to no end, but after about 4 days i didnt notice any pain. These are warm and cozy. I purchased the tan and choc lab pair in a size 7. i usually wear a 7.5 in every other pair of shoes i own, but the size 7 fit perfectly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Toucansan from Love, love, love my Daybreak Scuffs! I bought these for myself as a birthday gift. I have had my eye on them for years and resisted them because of the price. However, my old slippers finally gave way and at the same time I received a 20% off coupon in the mail from LLBean. So, the timing was right and I placed my long-awaited order. Boy of boy, that old saying is true, "good things come to those who wait." These scuffs are so cute, comfortable and made well. I wear them all the time, all day, inside the house. I don't think I'm going to spoil them by taking them outside. They are too special to me. I highly recommend them. By the way, I purchased the ones with the dog on them. : )

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dharmajam from Happy w/ purchase but could be improved. Ordered these as an Xmas gift then realized my own, cheap winter slippers were quite worn out from last year so decided to keep for myself and order another pair for my mother. I am glad I tried them on because in my opinion they run large. Both my mom and I are a 9, sometimes 8.5, but these slippers are definitely long and, as stated in the Bean sizing they are wide. I would say that if you are a half size order down. Unless you plan on also wearing a thick sock with them. But overall I am pleased because they are warm, will last a long time, are perfect for scuffing around the house and taking the kiddos to school cold mornings. Plus, the motif is adorable.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SheilaQ from Best thing I've ever worn on my feet Sooooo comfy. They fit like a dream and have quickly become my favourites of all the slippers I've ever owned. I was apprehensive about buying mules since I'd never had a pair before, but was happy to find that these are both easy to slip into and they stay on my feet when I'm walking. The slippers have a soft inner material and good arch support. The rubber soles are thick and have decent grip on the bottom. I've had my pair for almost a month now, and I wear them both in the house and outside on the patio on occasion. They seem to be quite sturdy in make, so I imagine they will last me a long time. Very happy with this purchase. Not to mention the dog motif is cute.

Rated 1 out of 5 by YogaGarden from if it ain't broke... I purchased the previous version of this slide on sale. I didn't realize it was a discontinued item so when I fell in love with them and came back for another pair in a different color, these were my only option. They certainly are not as comfortable and sturdy as the previous version. The sole is very different - thinner & it doesn't round the bottom of the shoe at the front & back, which I think affects how easy or not it is to walk in them It's frustrating when successful classics like the previous versions of the slide and the field coat are discontinued and replaced with less satisfying substitutes. I've loaded a pic of the pair I like. Please bring them back.
