Rated 1 out of 5 by EtCmmom from disappointed To start, I have purchased 3 short sleeve crewnecks, 2 long sleeve crewnecks, and 1 three quarter sleeve splitneck tunic and I love the fit and quality and feel of the fabric. I've always ordered size M for any item. When I decided I wanted a couple shells of course I ordered M. Was so disappointed in the fit. The armholes were extremely large and long, so much so that one could see inside the shirt when looking from the side. My thought was that possibly this style might run a little big so I took a chance and ordered 2 replacements in size S. Of course they didn't fit as I don't wear a size S!

Rated 5 out of 5 by sudiemamma from Love these shells! These shells are so versatile - you can wear alone with shorts or jeans, pair with a sweater or wear to work with trousers and a jacket. They are soft as can be and the fabric is "substantial". The white is not see-through. The bright colors stay bright through washings. I wash all my shells (with like colors) in cold, warm a few seconds in the dryer, and onto a hanger to dry. I wear a Med/Misses but will probably get a Med/Pet next time to get a little shorter. The fit is true to size. I'm 5'4" and the Med/Misses hits mid hip. The shell is not fitted but it isn't boxy. I've got four colors so far and plan on getting more.

Rated 2 out of 5 by LLBeanFan68 from Bummer I have the pima cotton tees in the short sleeve with both V-neck and crew neck. This fall I also bought the long sleeved version of the tee and have been happy with all of them. Love the softness and fit. I ordered one of these shells in anticipation of going to Florida in May, and planned to buy more if I liked it as much as the others. Unfortunately, I won't be able to wear this except as a sleep shirt. The large fits well in the other styles. But with the shell, the armpit holes are large and gaping, and show the side of my bra and chest. Very disappointed with the cut and fit of this tee. Good for sleeping only and it is comfortable, so that's why I'll go with two stars instead of one. Buyer beware.

Rated 3 out of 5 by JAM45 from Arm holes larger now! I have bought these pima tees for nearly 20 years in various sizes as my weight changed. Crew neck, v-neck, cardigan, shell. Adore the fabric. Have always rated as 5 stars. Can't rate the shell as five stars now; the arm holes gape dramatically. I returned one that had been on sale, thinking it was just a one-time shot. That's not the case, and I'm very disappointed. I'll keep trying, hoping that LLBean will go back to previous size arm holes; others must be experiencing this, too! Please do something about this, LLBean buyers, or whoever makes this type of decision.

Rated 4 out of 5 by 1JrzGrl from Nice Summer Staple Each year, I purchase several of these sleeveless shells in a variety of colors, relying on them as my 'go to' top throw on over jeans, shorts or a skirt. What I love about them is their versatility, durability and comfort. This year, though, I notice that the arm holes are much wider than in years past. I measured the top against last year's version, and it's over an inch wider causing it to show the top of my bra beneath my arm. I'm keeping the tops I ordered -- still love them, but will try to be careful by not raising my arms too high.

Rated 4 out of 5 by luvmaine65 from Great overall, too short, odd color selection Have a few of these shirts, and like all LL Bean Pima shirts, they are soft and well-made. As with almost all LL Bean tees that are not tunics, they are a hair too short for me in length, but that is always the case for me (I have been asking for this for years...please make your shirts just an inch longer!). My big complaint this season, however, is the color selection. It’s fall! Yet the color palate in the tees are very mid-winter...blues and violets and pinks. Where are the forest greens and brick reds and pumpkins? I hope the actual winter color selections will include more earth tones to make up for the lack of them in the fall line.

Rated 4 out of 5 by MNTOShopper from Great Sleeveless Tee, One Complaint I have purchased 6 of these tank tops in various colours over the past 2 years. Absolutely love them as they wash up beautifully and fit to a T. I always line dry them as I do most of my clothes so that's not a big deal (I find they shrink in length a bit if you put them in the dryer even on delicate). My complaint is that with most of them, after 6 months to a year they get those tiny holes in the bottom 1/3 of the shirt usually over the navel area. Same thing happened to my sister with her purchase of them as well. Just frustrating but I'll keep buying them as they wear so well until then.

Rated 1 out of 5 by brubrenda from Why change a good thing? I've worn these tees for many years and loved everything about them -- the fabric and the fit. Now that Supima Cotton is being used, they are much thinner, way too stretchy (like pajamas), and the fit is all out of whack. Huge armholes, tighter fit, much longer length. They don't feel like cotton anymore -- more like a cheap polyester blend. A similar change has been made to the mock turtlenecks and other tees. My husband noticed the change also and he won't wear them. I don't know where I'm going to shop for a regular 100% cotton -- not Supima -- tee. So many different brands are using it and I don't understand why. It's a far inferior fabric. Go back to original cotton, PLEASE!!!
