    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Wish they come in more colors! I have worn these shorts for over 10. They wash and wear great. I’m 5’9” and around 200#. I love how the wash band gives. Most shorts fit tight when you first put them on and by the end of the day they feel like they will fall off. This eliminates this stretching problem. Wish they come in more colors!!! I have at least 2 in every color.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Will serve purpose! Although I prefer the Lakewashed chino shorts fit and style, they were only available in the plaid fabric not basic colors. Needing a pair of khaki shorts in a longer inseam, I had two choices and went with the Bayside short as they were considerably less than the other choice. The fabric is definitely heavier than the lakeside shorts I have and is not as soft. Hopefully they will soften over time. I also am not a huge fan of the high waist style but with shirt untucked, it is fine. I would not be wearing this style with a shirt tucked in. Comfort waistband is okay- I read other reviews and ordered a size larger. Pockets are fine and are large enough for cell phone. I have not washed them yet so can’t say if they are wrinkle free. Overall, I am happy with purchase, although if Lakewashed Chino becomes available in solid colors, I would purchase those again.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Roomy shorts perfect waist I bought these wanting a classic pair of shorts, which they are, however they are too classic for me. Maybe 1980s type shorts? I don’t know. The thighs of the legs are very baggy, yet at the same time the waist is just right. I would’ve kept them however I felt that my thighs were swimming in them. Maybe someone else with larger thighs would have a better fit with these than myself. I am a flat butt type of girl lol.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic indeed. I have these in every color Bean's offers and would buy more if they had them. I wear the Bayside Shorts and Long Pants and have never been disappointed. They look good, wear well and are easy to care for. I think the shorts run a little big in the thighs but in the summer I'd rather have clothes too loose rather than too tight.
