Rated 3 out of 5 by BlueberryLady from Please get some quality control with your products I have worn these pants for years and have over a dozen of them in my closet right now. I always wore a M Regular, but my last few orders have been so strange. Some are two inches longer than others, some are smaller in the hips and shorter in the rise. I never know what to expect anymore. I have purchased several pair at a time with widely variable fits. I know they can be returned, but I can't wear another size and there is no way to know how the ones your order will fit you--short, long, tight, loose. The fabric still says it is the same mix, but some feel very different. I do wish LLBean would make these to a certain standard so we could count on the fit.

Rated 3 out of 5 by pattys from Ain't what they used to be. TO LLB: Please bring back the old quality. This fabric doesn't have the heft of my older Perfect Fit Pants. Hate how the knees now get baggy. Why has the quality of most everything you sell gone downhill? After my 35 plus years of shopping LLB, I've noticed most of your merchandise just isn't what it used to be. Also, please stay with the classic cut of clothing and stop offering so many cuts that are trendy, i.e. long and skinny tops that only look good on very young bodies. Regarding these pants I like to see a little of the flare taken out of the bottom. ALSO PLEASE GIVE US DEEPER POCKETS SO THAT WHEN WE SIT DOWN ITEMS FALL OUT.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChrissyE from My Most Comfortable, Travel Pants!! I LOVE these pants! I had purchased them in just about all colors in a larger size and have lost a lot of weight in the past year so I had to update my wardrobe with these pants in a smaller size. I'm torn as to what to do with the other, larger sizes because they wear SO well and look just as nice as when I first purchased them. Sooooo comfortable, I travel extensively and this is my 'go to' pants to wear on my long international flights. The fit is great, the length is correct and the rise for me is perfect! And, I love having the pockets - not too deep, not to shallow. Will now be getting them in all the colors for my new figure. :)

Rated 5 out of 5 by FirstQuality from These are truly "perfect fit" pants I live in these, absolutely live in these pants. I'm 5'4" 150 pounds, size medium regular. The length is perfect, I'm delighted with that fact, since I can wear them right out of the box, I don't have to have them hemmed. The waist fits my own, perfectly, which has gotten bigger due to pharmaceuticals and normal aging - these stretch, the (wonderful) pockets don't gape open. The fabric - love the fabric, not too heavy and hot feeling, not slick and "athletic wear" feeling, just good feeling. I see no change in these pants since I've been wearing them, these past 3 years. They're still perfect in all respects. Like I said above, I live in them. Good pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by england2017 from disappointment I've been wearing Bean's Perfect Fit Pants for years and loved them, but needed a new pair. I would rather pay $5 more and get the originals. Fabric on the new ones feels cheap, like something you would pay $9.99 for and the cut is different. I don't like skinny pants but these are a good 1/2 to 3/4 inch wider in each leg at bottom and sort of flop around my legs. Plus the knees butted out after a half day. These fit more like a pair of casual lounging pants, not the tailored but oh-so-comfortable Perfect Fits of the past. I buy nearly all my clothes from Bean and it is just sad to see them go cheap.

Rated 1 out of 5 by LoveToWearBean from Sooo disappointed in the changes! I have been wearing these pants daily for many, many years and have loved them. The latest ones I ordered are not the same. 1. lighter weight fabric (which now bags out and stretches out of shape, the heavier weight did not) 2. pockets are much smaller, so even my chapstick falls out, and keeping my cellphone in there isn't even an option 3. no tummy panel which helped to keep the pockets in place. Now they gap open. I AM SO DISSAPOINTED!!! I feel these changes may have been made to save on manufacturing costs, but the result is a cheaper fabric and style that does not perform like the originals. Very disappointed!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Crjsahm from Nice casual pants I am 18 in the waist and 14 in the hips, so I split the difference and bought size large. The waist fits just right; I think an XL would have been too big. These were crisp and smooth out of the package, but after washing they were more like a pair of regular chinos -- no creases, but just not smooth anymore. Hence my judgment that these are best as casual pants. Perhaps they would be smoother if ironed, but who wants to iron knit pants? The nice thing about these is that even though they are knit, they actually have more the look and body of summer weight khaki. Overall worth the price, even better with the rarelyrics offered discounts.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Rita544 from Just not the same I have these pants in every color and even in the crop pant style. The last 4 pairs (3 last fall) and 1 purchased recently were all way too long. Even the rise is too long. The waistband ends up under my bra in order for them not to drag on the ground. I think I may try the petite size next time but the catalog indicates inseam on petite as 28”. I need a 29”. I know that in years past I bought the same size and they were a perfect fit. Not so now. When I cut off about 2 inches and hemmed the 3 pair from last year they fit better. I like them because they last forever and always look good but I don’t like the length difference from years ago.
