I'm 5ft tall, 122 lbs and Beans would probably suggest a small but I like it more loose fitting and longer so I choose medium. Like to layer these under a colorful flannel shirt that picks up the color of the turtleneck. I wear the black to teach yoga in cooler weather to make it easier for students to see what I'm doing.

I like the fact that initials can be embroidered on the turned down collar. It is so much fun picking out the style and color and the website lets you see the final product before you purchase.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely red turtleneck LL Bean quality. I prefer the interlock to the pima. It seems to have more heft. I ordered 2, one for my mum and one for myself. We had little Scottie dog patch sewn on the turtleneck to add some flare. We love them. I am an XS Reg; Mother is a Med Petite. Both fit well.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from A classic Interlock turtlenecks hold up well, retaining their color wash after wash, over decades. The neck fits perfectly, unlike some turtlenecks that become stretched out and floppy. I can fold it over or scrunch it down. The knit cuffs stay snug against my wrists, though the sleeve length tends to shrink a bit over time (starts new at the wrist crease and ends up just beyond the wrist bone). I prefer this soft, light-diffusing, interlock knit over Pima, which feels cold and looks shiny. I would have purchased the birdseye pattern in this fabric, but the pattern doesn't continue up to the neck. So worn under a cableknit sweater, it looks like a plain turtleneck. Please bring back Bright Navy.
