It lands at high hip, which is just where I like my tops to land. I got the gray, and am so happy with it I just ordered the navy. It is well made; quality is excellent. I'll use it for layering, and will take it on my travels. It feels and looks classy, and at the same time perfect for the casual look as well.

It took me a couple weeks to find a jacket that checked all the boxes I wanted. I wore it in the airport and stashed all of my things in the pocket, and as a morning/evening layer during Spring/Fall. Very soft, but not too hot.

The saddle brown is a winner. Then there's texture: the fabric has a good heft and a raised pattern that's substantial but neat and tidy like corduroy only better. The figure-flattering fit is another asset. Only one thing I worry about: wearing it when my cat needs a nail trim. I like this top too much to take a chance with it!
