I zipper would've been better. Im 5'7 135 lbs and i ordered a small. I would've wanted it to be a little roomier, but Medium would probably be too big for me. I returned it.

        Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointed I loved this coat when it arrived - wore it for lots of different occasions and it was warm and comfy - then I washed it according to the directions and the lining shrunk and now it looks dreadful - the bottom curls up and it hangs like an old rag

The color was nice and I think it would look very good on some people, just not me this time. I also didn't want to be doing snaps on so long a coat and wouldn't have worn it open.

For me, snaps are a good choice rather than a zipper. The petite medium fits perfectly on my 5’2” 125 pound frame. Highly recommended.
